GetSparkleBid (“GetSparkleBid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online marketplace that helps customers request cleaning services and allows cleaning professionals and cleaning businesses to review opportunities, submit quotes, communicate with customers, and manage jobs.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, service ZIP code, requested cleaning service, preferred date or time, job details, business or professional profile information, service areas, availability, quotes, messages, reviews, and related marketplace activity.

When professionals use paid marketplace features, payment-method and billing information may be processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not need to store full payment card numbers in GetSparkleBid’s application database.

2. Account, authentication, and security information

We may process authentication records, verification codes, session information, device/browser information, notification subscriptions, and security signals needed to sign users in, verify requests, prevent abuse, and protect the marketplace.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve GetSparkleBid, match customer requests with nearby professionals, deliver quotes, enable Job Room communications, translate supported messages, send service and marketplace notifications, process applicable marketplace fees, support replacements or billing reviews, prevent fraud or misuse, provide customer support, measure product and marketing performance, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Information shared through the marketplace

Customer contact information is intended to remain protected while quotes are being compared and may become available to the selected professional when the marketplace workflow requires coordination of the accepted job. Professionals may display profile information, services, service areas, business names, ratings, and verified marketplace reviews to customers.

5. Service providers

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, translation, payment processing, analytics, maps, notifications, and other infrastructure. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to their own legal obligations.

6. Google data

If GetSparkleBid connects to Google Search Console for administrative analytics, access is limited to authorized GetSparkleBid administrators and is used to retrieve search-performance information for GetSparkleBid properties. We do not use Search Console authorization to access a user’s Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or unrelated Google account content.

7. Cookies and local storage

GetSparkleBid may use cookies, browser storage, session storage, or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support installation and notifications, attribute marketing activity, and keep the service functioning securely.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and marketplace records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and why it is needed.

9. Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional information, manage notification preferences where available, and contact us about questions regarding your information. Some information is required to operate customer requests, professional accounts, billing, or security features.

10. Children

GetSparkleBid is intended for adults seeking or providing cleaning services and is not directed to children under 13.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as GetSparkleBid evolves. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date when appropriate.
